Mission

Attraction of attention of the broad masses of the population of Russia to the knowledge of the Russian Orthodox history and culture, of the problems of education of children in the Orthodox society, revival of the Christian traditions in the family and in the society, the increase of spiritual-patriotic identity of the children, of the teenagers and of the older generations, promoting of the spiritual and moral values, of the moral installations and of the socially significant traditions among the young people. Promotion of the research activities, among the children and the young people.

History

Non-state educational institution of Training and business center «Galaxy» was founded in 1994 and began its activities with the development of the innovative technologies in the educational activities.

In 1995 on the basis of the Center has developed a training course «Information technologies in the office». For accompany the course were published author's methodological manuals.

In 1998, "Centre" one of the first in Russia has offered training in the remote mode via by the Internet.

At the basis of the concept of education of the Center is the idea of creating the educational programs, where is the possibility to study without tearing away from a production, as well as the teaching methods allow to get the maximum knowledge for the short periods of the study.

Since 2000, the Centre has developed a number of the scientific research, of the social and of the charity projects and programs, assistance in the restoration the Orthodox Holy sites.

The last a few years, the priority direction of activity of the Centre is organization of Orthodox projects, organization and carrying out measures jointly with the Moscow Patriarchate, and Dioceses of the Orthodox Church, with public organizations, as well as work with young people and children. In the framework of the children's programs are carried out the competitions of children's creativity.

The laureate of the Gold Medal of the Russian Arts Academy, Honorary Academician of the Russian Arts Academy, author of more than 3,000 paintings. He participated in a number of Russian and international exhibitions. A member of the Union of Journalists of the Russian Federation. A member of the Union of Writers of the Russian Federation. Author of nine books. Yacht Captain. He made four circumnavigations and crossed the Atlantics fourteen times, including one time on a rowing boat. Honored Master of Sports. Fedor was awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples of the USSR and the UNEP Prize "GLOBAL 500" for his contribution to the environmental protection. He is the holder of the UNESCO Prize “For Fair Play”.
