Arctic orthodox expedition On 1 February 2013 a press-conference took place at the Moscow information agency «RIA-news» dedicated to the unique dog's sledding expedition «Karelia - the North pole - South tip of the island of Greenland», which starts in March.

Chairman of expert Council of the all-Russian program «Orthodox expedition», the initiator and creator of the polar expedition, priest Fedor Konyukhov told that he had dreamed to go this route since 1978.
